How does it work?


Annual membership:

Will be £5, this will include the price of your first subscription and a sturdy shopping bag for you to carry all your goodies home in.

Subscription each time you shop

You can then visit the shop up to three times per week (when we’re fully open) and pay a £3.50 subscription each time. For this you can select from a wide selection of items in the shop including fresh fruit and veg, dairy and bakery products, non-perishable items, frozen food and ready meals (subject to availability).

Grab a brew and have a chat!

There will also be free tea and coffee available and maybe even some cake or biscuits giving plenty of time to chat!

How to pay

You can pay by card or cash

No referral necessary

You do not need a referral to use the shop and it’ll be on a first come first served basis – when it’s gone it’s gone until the next delivery!!!

Additional Support

You will be able to access additional support from Abergele District Foodbank, for emergency food parcels, Abergele Community Money Advice for free confidential debt advice and the Benefits Advice Shop as well as receive lots of information on other agencies that might be able to help you depending upon your circumstances.  You just need to ask in the shop for information on this.

To begin…

The Shop will be open every Thursday afternoon from 12 – 3pm, and as it develops it will be open at other times as well.  You just have to let us know what you want - this will be your shop!!!

Volunteer

The Shop will be run by the community for the community.  If you would like to help in the shop by volunteering check out the application form on the Volunteering tab above.
